March of the Ryno combines the creative artwork of Tim Glasspool, the legend of Ryan Hughes and the foresight and expertise of Chris Hultner, who recognized what was happening at Steel City 1995 and ran to capture one of the most iconic photographs in motocross history.

At Steel City 1995, Ryan Hughes entered the final moto of the 125cc AMA National Motocross Championship tied in points with Steve Lamson. They both rode the moto of their lives but Lamson won and Hughes lost. The title was gone either way but Hughes became legend when his chain broke with 250 feet to go and he pushed his bike uphill to the finish.

The full story behind that day at Steel City 1995 and the photo can be read in Broken Hearts and Busted Chains. Or listen to the audio version at the We Went Fast podcast channel.

Inspired by mid-century European racing event posters, designer Tim Glasspool applies his love for motocross and eye for design to create his own series of prints based on well-known motocross events.Find him on Instagram @goodtimbo
